PETER FRAMPTON was thankful that the tape machines were rolling on his mid June show at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, 45 years ago.
Six months later, those tapes would turn into one of the greatest live records ever, "Frampton Comes Alive!".
A&M released the double live album on this day in 1976, so it's The Fox's "Vinyl @ Nineyl".
