1947 - The Cars bassist Ben Orr is born Benjamin Orzechowski in Lakewood, Ohio.

1945 - Kelly Groucutt (bassist and co-lead vocalist for Electric Light Orchestra) is born Michael William Groucutt in Coseley, Staffordshire, England.

1932 - Country singer Patsy Cline is born Virginia Patterson Hensley in Winchester, Virginia.
