53 years ago today (August 8, 1969), the Beatles shot the cover for their Abbey Road album. It took about 10 minutes while police stopped traffic and now the crosswalk is an icon in London. So much so, there is a webcam on the crosswalk at all times. If you want some good entertainment, watch as people try to reenact the famous Beatles walk and dodge cars at the same time!
