Cut Traded Fired Retired Podcast: Daniel Graham

This episode features who most consider a Colorado kid. Daniel Graham was born in California but came to Colorado when he was just a few weeks old. His dad Tom Graham played for the Broncos in the early 70’s and he also played for the Chiefs, Chargers and Bills. When Tom retired, he wanted to raise his family in the Mile High City, so they moved to Denver in 1978, right after Daniel was born. Daniel played multiple sports at Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to play at the University of Colorado where he was a John Mackey Award Winner as the nations best Tight End in 2001. He was chosen by the Patriots in the first round of the 2002 draft and won two Super Bowls with New England. Nothing lasts forever in the NFL and Daniel continued his career with the Broncos, Titans and Saints. As you’ll hear, one of those destinations was far better than the other two. He's in CU’s Athletic HOF and the Colorado Sports HOF as well as member of the Patriots All-2000 team and today enjoys his time in the Denver area just being a dad.
