Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs teased discussions with New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams about a potential return to the franchise while appearing on the No BS radio show from radio row at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Wednesday (February 5).

Jacobs, who was Adams' teammate during his tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders before signing with Green Bay last offseason, said the Packers would benefit from "a guy that's proven to be a No. 1 already." The veteran running back was then asked if he was referring to someone "that maybe played here before," referencing the six-time Pro Bowler, who spent his first eight seasons in Green Bay.

"If he come at the right price, if he come at the right price tell him to slide," Jacobs said before confirming "I've had them talks with 'Te."

The Packers haven't had a 1,000-yard receiver since trading Adams during the 2022 offseason, at which point Aaron Rodgers, who was traded to the New York Jets the following offseason, was still the team's quarterback. Adams spent two full years with the Raiders before being traded to the Jets and reuniting with Rodgers midway through the 2024 season.

The former All-Pro recorded a combined 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games during the 2024 season and has exceeded 1,000 receiving yards during six of the last seven seasons, including three with the Packers.
