First Tim Patrick, now Courtland Sutton.

For the second time in less than a week, the Denver Broncos locked up one of their best wide receivers to a long-term contract, agreeing with Sutton on a four-year, $60.8 million deal, with $34.9 million guaranteed.

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network first reported the extension.

Sutton has 43 receptions for 617 yards and two touchdowns this year after missing all but one game of the 2020 season with a torn ACL.

The Broncos draft Sutton in the second round (40th overall) out of SMU in 2018.

Last week, the Broncos agreed on a three-year contract with wide receiver Tim Patrick.

The Broncos had a bye this past weekend and return to action against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, November 28. Coverage starts at 8 a.m. on KOA 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
