Hiya, my name is Chief! I am an awesome 13-year-old Aussie Cattle Dog weighing in at 34 pounds.
One of the first things you might notice about me is the markings on my face. The humans here at the shelter (who, for some reason, have yet to acknowledge my superior rank!) think it may come from either frost bite or scarring from an old untreated medical issue.
I am an excellent dog and a wonderful companion! I am very sweet and I walk well on leash. I am also very food motivated and I can learn new tricks quickly with this motivation. Even better, I am already house broken so you don't have to worry about that!
I am not fond of large dogs but I do well with small dogs and cats as well as children but it would still be best if you brought your other fur babies, and the rest of the family, to meet me!
