In Studio: John Henson

Henson is a stand-up comedian who toured the country for many years before being selected as host of E!’s Talk Soup. Henson then went on to co-host and produce seven seasons of ABC's summer-smash hit Wipeout.

Henson’s projects have included, The John Henson ProjectWatch This, Who Want's to Be a Millionaire and truTV's Funniest Commercials. Henson has appeared on NBC, CNN, and MSNBC, among other networks, as a pop culture analyst.

Most recently, John was seen as a contestant on Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America. He also served as a recurring guest host on the popular entertainment news show, TMZ.

His acting credits include the role of "Darren" on FX’s Anger Management and a recurring guest star role as the husband of his real-life wife, comedian Jill Benjamin, playing the parents of "Austin Moon" on Disney’s hit show Austin & Ally. He was also seen in a recurring role on NBC’s My Name is Earl. Henson continues to do stand up comedy around the country. As a writer, he has contributed to US Weekly, TV Guide and George Magazine.

John is also a dedicated philanthropist and helps raise money for several charities, including, Make-A- Wish Foundation and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
