On June 7 Kevin Neu, a paramedic from Castle Rock, was paralyzed in a motorcycle crash while on vacation in Missouri. He hit a patch of sand and lost control and was ejected from the bike. Kevin is a husband and father of two and is a full-time registered nurse at Porter Adventist Hospital ER and a part-time paramedic with Platte Valley Ambulance. Kevin is currently undergoing intensive outpatient therapy at Craig.
