It was Christmas 2016, when a little girl got the surprise of her life—a motorcycle! The 10-year-old’s father had saved up money and even enlisted the help of his boss to make this awesome Christmas gift come true. But a Grinch was hiding in the weeds, waiting for the opportune moment to pounce and spoil everything.
What Would You Do If a Little Girl’s Motorcycle Was Stolen?
A few weeks after Christmas, the girl was finally able to ride her dirt bike. Her father had bought it used, and with the help of his boss, he managed to get it fixed up just in time for the holidays. It was a gift filled with love, and the 10-year-old said that her first ride was awesome. However, when she woke up the next morning, the motorcycle was gone.
The family reported the theft to the police, but there was no sign of the dirt bike. It was gone, and all the family could do was hope that whoever took the motorcycle would return it. You see, the girl is a very active member of the community. She donates her birthday presents to charity, gives books to local elementary schools, and she even raises money for animal shelters. Her family thought she deserved something special just for her, and the community agreed.
After school, this girl’s father took her to a local motorcycle dealership. He told her they were there to get her bike back, and while they waited, one of the salespeople talked the girl into sitting on a brand new Kawasaki dirt bike. Moments after testing the bike out, the salesperson told the 10-year-old that this was her new motorcycle.
An anonymous donor heard about the girl’s bike being stolen, so they bought her a new one, and contacted the girl’s family. Now this 10-year-old has a second shot at enjoying the sport of riding.
