Many people dream about riding a motorcycle, but after a certain age many of those dreamers give up on it ever happening. That’s because motorcycling can sometimes be physically demanding and dangerous if you don’t ride with care. However, there are some people that scoff at obstacles like these, and they move forward to accomplish their dreams.
Want to Learn to Ride? It’s Never Too Late
While visiting her dentist, Bert Mullenbach mentioned that she had always wanted to ride a motorcycle, but she had never gotten the chance. She had tried for years, but after moving into a nursing home, and celebrating her 103rd birthday, she thought it would never happen. Well, her dentist didn’t agree.
You see, Bert’s dentist rides a Harley-Davidson, and he couldn’t understand why the woman couldn’t ride. So, he made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. He decided to take the 103-year-old on a ride!
They loaded up at the retirement community where Bert lives, suited her up in a helmet and leather jacket, and then they rode out. The ride only lasted for 15 miles, but Bert returned to the retirement community with a big smile on her face. Local reporters came out to report on the event, and Bert told them that she had so much fun, she forgot her own age.
Motorcycling is all about discovery and freedom, and the motorcycling attorneys at the Metier Law Firm hope you get to enjoy that freedom safely.
